<div id="subtitle">SC trooper accused of ramming man with his cruiser will do 100 hours of community service</div><div><p>A South Carolina trooper caught on video bumping a running suspect with his patrol car is being required to do about 100 hours of community service.</p><p>A federal judge on Tuesday approved a deal that requires Lance Cpl. Alexander Richardson to perform the community service. In January, Richardson was accused of violating Kevin Rucker's civil rights. An April 2007 video shot from the trooper's dashboard camera shows him driving after the man over sidewalks and past onlookers.</p><p>Prosecutors recommended the community service for Richardson.</p><p>Richardson was not in court.
